A Little Lunch Outdoors in the Suuunnsshhiine!!

It has been such beautiful weather in Scotland. Really really hot, which is quite unusual I have to say. So today we decided to have a little lunch outside. Mum conjured up some summer delights and I... stuffed the mushrooms!! lol. Sorry but cooking is not my strong suit!!!

For starters we had gazpacho soup which is super delish and perfect for summer!! A lovely cool and light tomato soup. This one had a particular kick of garlic to mention... pheweee! Very healthy too.

Then it was on to salad, veggies,  dips and bruschetta...

It was so lovely having this fabulously healthy and light summer lunch with such a fantabulous view!! It doesn't get any better than this!!

After all this I helped myself to a little banana bread which had been cooked on Sunday for a bbq desert. I love my mum's banana bread, seriously amazzzziinng!

That is how I spent my lunchtime today oh gorgeous ones...

What did you get up to? Did you get to sit in the sunshine?

REVIEW | Mac Sheen Supreme Lipstick in Supreme Style with Swatches

Hi-diddley-ho-there!

I have just purchased a beautiful new Mac Sheen Supreme lipstick in Supreme Style (£14.50) and wanted to tell you all about it.

I actually went to redeem a free lippy with my 6 empty MAC containers but I couldn't resist this beauty after trying it on.

Firstly, the packaging is lovely. Sleek and simple with a quiet click when you push on the lid to make sure it is on securely. Nobody wants a squashed lippy smeared all over the inside of their bag now do they? Yuk.

Now on to the colour.  I would describe it as a warm rosey coral pink. Mac describes it as 'frosted', however I would say the 'frosting' only adds a sheen to it.  Overall the colour is very natural and perfect for summer.

The pigmentation is what I expected from this lipstick, enough to cover the lips while still looking natural. You can easily make the colour deeper by adding on more of the product.

The formula is very moisturising. Shiny enough but definitely not glossy by look or feel.

Sheen Supreme lipsticks are described as combining the colour impact of lipstick with the shine sheen of a lipglass. Lightweight and non-sticky. I would say all of these are true for this lipstick and I absolutely love it.

Another bonus is that Sheen Supreme lipsticks actually contain more product (3.6g) than regular Mac lipstsicks (3g).

I would say this lippy is perfect for anybody looking for a natural easy to wear lipstick this summer.  Or if like me you don't really like the sticky finish of lip gloss but still want a bit of a sheen.  If you are after stand out colour you may be better with a different shade and if you only like matt lipsticks this probably isn't for you.

What do you think gals? What are your favourite Mac lipsticks?

Serious Hair Envy!

Hi-diddle-ho-there!

Today is a little post about some major hair envy I have going on. I mean we all get it right? Surely it is not just me (eeep I hope not). It is that feeling when you spot another gals hair and you get a twinge in your stomach and your mind goes "ahhh that bi***, she has better hair than me"...

Anyhooo after some serious pinning I have come up with a couple of hair inspo boards, here and here. I love to pin ideas of hair that I would love to have one day (or maybe never) but they just makes me go ahhhh ooooh wow! You know the kind of hair I mean?

So here is a wee collection of what you can find on my pinterest. Feel free to pop on over and have a browse. Also if you are a pinner winner like me then leave you username in the comments section below!!

Well there is not really much else to say peepers so I will leave you with these dreamy hair do's, enjoy the rest of your weekend oh gorgeous ones!

What hair do is your fave?

The LDNBloggersParty and What I Wore!!

I was lucky enough to grab one of the last places at the London Bloggers Party (it was guest list only) so if your name wasn't down you wasn't getting in.  I was really looking forward to meeting as many bloggers as I could, especially the ones that I have been talking to for months on twitter!!!

It was held on Saturday the 29th June at Dirty Martini in Hanover Square, London at 1.30pm. I will apologise now for my lack of photos but I was having such a great time saying hello and chatting that I didn't take my phone out hardly at all.

There were so many bloggers there I didn't know where to begin.  Gradually I began to recognise some faces in the crowd! I bumped in to Kat from Talesofapaleface with her fab new hairdo and I recognised Sophia from TattoedteaLady who was lovely.

It was just an all round fab party. I want to say a huge thanks to Scarlett London for organising such a great meet up. And hello to all the other fantastic bloggers I met including:

I am really excited to dive in to the goody bag because it looks so jam packed! But, I am going to do a video of this over the next few days so keep yer eyes peeled!!!
