My 5 favourite things...

Hi-diddle-ho there
I wanted to do a little post to help you get to know me a little better. Hopefully. Maybe. Yup. So what better way to do that than tell you my 5 favourite things, here goes..

1. Poppi the Chihuhua
number one has to be without doubt my chi chi. She has been a constant companion to me for 7 years now. Being there at my side through thick and thin. No matter what she is loyal. To see that little tail wagging when I get home makes me so happy. I love her more everyday.

2. My nephew (family)
Even though this little pumpkin has only been in the world for 14 months he has brought so much happiness and joy to my life that I never knew was possible. I was so chuffed when "Aaaaaash" was his 3rd word, which he said about 100 times a day. When I am feeling down just knowing he is my nephew reminds me of everything that is good in my life.  I love love loooveee him so much.

3. Cupcakes
I am gonna admit it. I love cake. I said it cake, cake, cake I just love it. And there is absolutely nothing like a beautiful colourful tasty sweet cupcake to brighten my mood. I can't think of any situation that a cupcake wont make better.... go on, try it. I know you want to!

4. Friends the tv show
Honestly, I could watch this show all day, and you know what? sometimes I do. There is something so light and easy about it, never creating an uneasy feeling or any discontentment. It really does make me feel so happy. Could this show BE any better? (probably not).

5. The interweb
Where oh where would we be without the interweb? Well I certainly would be a less knowledgeable human being. Whenever in doubt google is always my clever friend answering such questions as 'What time is it in Korea' and 'How many grams are in a cup'.  And if it wasn't for the www I wouldn't have my little blog, which I love so very much. Thank you Mr Internet inventor you have brightened my world.

I would love to hear all about your favourite things. Comment below x

REVIEW | Ultimo Utan Deluxe Gradual Tan Miami Beach

I use to wear a lot of self tanner but over the past few months I have been embracing my true colour which is quite pale. I decided with it being summer to try out a few gradual tanners as ideally they just give a very subtle glow. Firstly, I tried the Dove Summer glow which was ok but I didn't love it. Then while searching the Selfridges sale I came across my all time favourite fake tan brand, Utan. I have reviewed their Brazilian Bronze Mousse and Ibiza Extreme Lotion previously both of which I loved. So when I saw their Gradual Tanner I thought it would be a great buy.

The packaging is the same fabulous design as the rest of their tanners, sleek and stylish. I really love it, I am a sucker for packaging after all.

The pump dispenser makes it very easy to control the amount of product dispensed on to the palm of your hand. Now it does smell very tanneresque which unfortunately will put a lot of you off. I was a little surprised at this because the other Utan products I have tried do not have this smell. It seems to be they made no effort to disguise it. However, this really doesn't bother me because I know how great their products are so I am prepared to put up with it.  I am glad I did.

The formula is very light which I love. The Dove summer glow was very thick and sticky. This is nothing like that. It soaks in very quickly leaving hardly any hint of residue, which is great.

I applied it before bed just like moisturiser, not putting any on my face or hand. It soaked in quickly and the next morning I was over the moon. The colour really is fantastic.  There was not a hint of the fake tan smell on me or my bedsheets either which is a bonus.

The result is a perfectly even lightly tanner glow. Enough colour to make a difference and give me the subtle glow I was looking for without feeling like I was slathering on fake tan. I am so impressed. There is not a hint of a line, streak or unevenness anywhere. I applied the Dove summer glow exactly the same way and was left very streaky. So I think the Utan formula works wonders.

With one application I find it lasts 3 days at the most, which is ok and it fades evenly.

Another fantastic product from Ultimo Utan.

My Favourite youtubers.... say whaaaaat?

Hi-diddle-ho there!

It is fair to say I am a pretty huge youtube fan. I love looking for new channels and learning new things or just laughing at funny videos to cheer myself up. So I thought I would share with you some of my favourite youtubers and maybe they will make you laugh or teach you something too!!

The number 1 youtube queen. If you don't know who she is maybe you have had your head under a dirty blanket because you has over 1 billion, yes 1 billion views on her channel.  I watch her videos for plenty of lol's.

These girls totally have my sense of humour. They are so funny. Michelle Money and Laura are BFF's vlogging everything from how to's to beauty secrets and things form their everyday lives. They do it in such a fun honest way and know how to take the piss out of themselves. Learning and lol's!

3.  Saturday Nights Alright
Another honest gal. This time focussing on makeup tutorials. She has the most gorgeous hair.

Beauty and makeup tutorials.

A guy with a massive knowledge of makeup. I have learned so much from watching this guy. He explains things really well and his tutorials are easy to follow.

Now for a British star. This girl is so funny. I love her vlogs and haul videos.

7. Zoella
Doing it for the Brits again with over 1million subs. Zoella is a little youtube superstar. Love her favourites and haul vids.

If you want to learn how to do some amazing hair styles watch this girl. Her videos are really well made which make them easy to follow.

9. Lisa Eldridge
Just amazing. Lisa is a celebrity makeup artist and really knows her stuff. I always learn about new products and techniques watching her vids.

10. Pointless Blog
Alfie never fails to make me laugh. When I fancy a random bit of tomfoolery I stick on one of his vids like this Embarrassing phone call challenge

So these are my faves at the moment. I would love to hear about any youtubers you think I should be watching!!

My Absolute favourite Bakery in London!

Paul Rodes Bakery in Greenwich is my absolute favourite place. I use to live just round the corner and go everyday. Then when I moved my visits became a lot less frequent which was incredible sad because it is amazing.

The cakes and pastries are seriously yummy. I recommend their chocolate brownies which sell for £1.80 each and sell out quickly. They are yum-diddle-umptious. One of the best things about Rhodes is the coffee. Hands down the best coffee in London I have ever tasted. Not too milky, not too strong and definitely not burnt like some other places. Just right. (a bit like the last bowl of porridge goldilocks' tries).

Greenwich is a fab place to visit if you are a Londoner or  a tourist. Lots to see and do so if you do go make sure you pop by Paul Rhodes and don't forget to tell them you found them via my blog :-)

Celeb Style | Luisa Zissman from the Apprentice in Orange Dress

You know what I am like when I see somebody in a pretty dress, I HAVE to find out where it is from. And my latest mission came after seeing the Apprentice contestant Luisa Zissman in an absolutely beautiful tangerine orange body con dress. At first I thought it was by Victoria Beckham, it sure looks like the Orange dress from her collection (also seen on Lucy Mecklenburgh) Which can I say, I also love.  It is certainly very similar!

But after some serious searching I found Luisa Zissman on twitter and sent her a tweet but I couldn't wait any longer. I noticed in her pictures that somebody else had the same dress which turned out to be her friend Laura.  So I tweeted her and she kindly replied to answer my question.

Luisa herself very kindly replied the next day too so yay double confirmation! Both girlies have great taste in buying the same dress!!

Ted Baker!! I never would have guessed it.  Sadly, it is not in the sale but... it is in stock! yay!

So grab The Ted Baker Saphie Strap Dress here before it goes!

What do you think gals do you love it as much as I do?
