Autumn Favourites | Maybelline Color Tatoo 24HR Eyeshadows

Maybelline Color Tatoo eyeshadows (£4.99 each) were one of those products that was so hyped I thought there is no way they will live up to the hype.  When I first got them back in August I found them quite difficult to apply, did I use a brush? Do I use my fingers? It just seemed that no matter what I did they came out all smudgy. Yuk.  However, with perseverance they have become one of my favourite products to use.  It just takes a little bit of time to get use to them and trying different application methods to work out what works best for you.

I love how quickly you can apply them and how easily they can be layered.  Not to mentioned they don't crease and last all day. Now I want every colour.  My favourite thing to do with them is apply on and on bronze with my finger on the lid dabbing gently, blend a little immortal charcoal on the crease and use the tip of my ring finger to swipe under my bottom lashes.  It is so quick to do, lasts all day and looks really autumnal and pretty.

How do you wear your Maybelline color tatoo eyeshadows?

I'm lazy, I just use on and on bronze on its own haha.

I love these things, though, soo good. I've just got one of the new bourjois cream to powders which people are saying are like the tattoos, I flipping love it but it needs a primer which makes it different to the tattoos for me xx

(Got a tk maxx haul coming up soon thanks to your candle post, hehe, they didn't have, many nice ones (most were a different make which were disgusting) but I did manage to get one that both the fiance and I love!)

  2. I love these so much. I also have the Rose Gold which is a beautiful shade, and the Pomegranate which is great for autumn. Actually planning a post on it very soon and how I use them so I'll link yours across!

They took a while to get used to, but now I love the concept and have lots of different shades. I do prefer the Bourjois formula though - it's just a little smoother and less sticky :o). Xx

  11. Love color tattoos as well! Definitely my favorite drug store cream eye shadows! Bad to the bronze and tough as taupe are some of my go to favorites, and I love how powder eyeshadow pairs so nicely with the cream formulas.

There's a nice khaki sort of one in the Bourjois' which is rather different looking. I think there's only 6 shades thus far but I'm still desperately hoping that Maybelline give us some of the US shades of the colour tattoo - So nice!

Annnd my TK Maxx haul is finally live - http://petitmoibigworld.blogspot.co.uk/2013/11/tk-maxx-and-cex-haul-pretty-things-and.html

  22. I also really like these! I (think) I have the Tough as Taupe shade; annoying that it doesn't say on my tub! But bought on a whim to use as a base for my halloween makeup look, but actually really like the shade so must use it more often!
Love the colour of your 'on and on bronze' shade! X
